Nagarkoti 2nd over

145

145

143

136

146

144

Very quick over. Consistently around 90 mph.

Most short balls are being clocked slower in this IPL.

Nagarkoti's lack of natural bounce may be a problem going forward.

Solution is probably to bowl on the shorter side of good length punctuated by yorkers and genuine bouncers.

He will be good in tests in India.

Yes that's what I like about him unlike Mavi who listened to Bhuvi advice and tried to use lot of slower balls.

Mavi was also clocking 140+ last game. To me, he still looked stiff.

What evidence is that bhuvi gave advice for slower ball? You yourself said it was just about swing but now you are talking about slower balls

People come up with any fantasy nonsense about players they dislike and others blindly upvote. This forum is worse than fox news now

That is what I have been saying for long. But he will need reverse swing.

He will get early and more reverse due to his action but his short height is a huge disadvantage though I would say even Shami isn't much taller than him and Kamlesh is very young probably 21. So he  will get stronger and stability and consistency of his bowling action will also improve. Pace is pace.

Shami and Nagarkoti maybe of similar height but Shami gets steep bounce for his height. Nagarkoti does not. His balls are hitting the sweet spots on the bats.

Nagarkoti needs to work on his bounce off a good length and his bouncers.

Also, for such a short bowler without natural bounce ... he needs to bowl 145 k to 150 k to be successful.

While a tall bouncy pacer like Tyagi can succeed at 137 k to 143 k too.
