Texan Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Feel like the game is already lopsided in favor of the batsman. With small grounds, top edges, powerless shots also carry over the boundaries. Small grounds just make a mockery of the game. For all international or franchise cricket games, small grounds should be absolutely banned. ICC should put in place rules requiring a minimum boundary radius for all international games.
asterix Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 For T20s organisers actually pull the boundary rope in for that batsmen can make big scores quickly. There are no bowler rights in T20s. Public come to see big hits only...
bowl_out Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 They should have standard ground sizes. Like every other sport nevada 1

Seeing mishits sailing over the boundary is disappointing IMO. I like to see a good contest between bat and ball and not see batsmen striking against a bowling machine.
rkt.india Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 This was a small ground in 90s too where our batsmen even struggled to 4s but now batting has just evolved.
Cricketics Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Apparently Tendulkar’s one of the greatest ODI knocks “Desert storm” came here. Wrong day to create such threads. Some bhakts might incarcerate you. Alert. Laaloo, Singh bling, nevada and 1 other 3 1
