The reason why we lost those series was bcoz we are producing FTB's.

We hail the likes of Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan who are flat track specialists.

A Ftb like Sharma is hailed as a great batsman(and for some people even better than kohli).

Ipl and t20s are destroying our batsman. Kl rahul is the latest victim, the guy literally changed his batting style to hit big in t20s and was found wanting in test cricket.

Please stop hyping FTBs.

DNt complain about FTB and defend Captain who chooses Dhawan over pujara n rohit over nair

No one hails sanju or kishen, we all know what they are and what their problem out.....what are you reading

kaha se shuru karu

  • Dropping pujara for Dhawan
  • playing kuldeep in 2nd test when it was conditions were ideal for fast bowlers
  • playing ashwin in 4th test despite him getting injured in 3rd
  • Playing umesh every time overseas , but then again only thakur was left but why to take such mediocre  bowlers
  • calling thakur as replacement whereas Siraj was running through A sides
  • sticking to dhawan even when replacements were called in shaw
  • Not using hardik the bowler enough specially when ball was new
  • Not giving a Fck to practice games
  • DK starting again over pant, DK in eng and Parthiv in Sa they have been tried n tested failure for yrs now

Not getting debutante Sam Curran out bhi add karo. And lately getting owned by another debutante in nz

Lets analyse each point. I watch test cricket and i have an answer for most of them.

1.Pujara was woefully out of form, he failed spectacularly in SA and was averaging in low teens in County cricket. Even if you check the match thread on different forums you will get to know that many were opposing pujara. Secondly Dhawan scored a century in the previous match. You can't replace a player after scoring a century it looks unfair.

2.Yes this was a disaster, agreed but we were unlucky in this test, got the worst conditions to bat both times and selecting even malcolm marshall over kuldeep couldn't have changed our fortunes and you know that, we lsost by an innings. Lol

3.You can't really comment about injury status, ashwin might have been excited to bowl after a victory in last test and maybe he looked fully fit. Nonetheless this isn't a valid point.

4.You yourself justified the 4th point.Secondly its not that easy to drop a player who is performing consistently at home even if we know he is not good enough for overseas.

5 Totally agree with 5th point. THAKUR is trash. But he can't be blamed for selecting players, that's the job of selectors, not picking them in 11 is his fault but mot selection. Also i think Shardul has a lot of connections the guy keeps getting selected after having nothing to show.

6.When did that happen. Dhawan was dropped in eng and after that we haven't seen him.

7.You don't give the new ball to the worst bowler of the team. I don't think this should even be a question. Whrn you have the likes of bumrah shami ishannt you don't give the new ball to hardik.

8.Now this is something where you should blame the bcci not Kohli, even this time in aus we have loi series before tests so there's not much time for oractice, indian teams schedule these days is super  tight.

9.In Sa we didn't have a choice as Pant wasn't even ready. Yed in England i agree Dk is a TTF but it's very difficult to throw in a debutant at the stary of a away series. So i think its justified.

Also none of these points you raised could have made a difference in our fortune. We would still have lost and you know that too.

As i explained in the last post Even with the best available resources we wouldn't have been able to turn the outcome of even one match

If that's the case then stop hyping VeeRat as the greatest Indian Test captain. All he has achieved is thrash low quality sides at home. But got thrashed away by Eng and SA who have been at their weakest in Test cricket in the last 10-15 years. Even SL beat SA in SA FGS and Pakistani/WI have done better than us in England. Three of the worst test sides doing better than us when we are at our strongest and are being led by the greatest captain!

I would not even talk about the last NZ series, which was a proper disaster and would have got any other captain sacked.

You didn't explain anything. You just pretended that Virat don't have much power in Indian cricket, it's all selectors or BCCI fault. Typical fanboy logic, if things go well, Virat gets the whole credit. (He's the reason we have great fast bowlers now!!) But when terrible decisions are made, it must be someone else behind the scenes

It is very very easy actually. If Australia can drop Mitchell friggin Starc from ashes in England, I'm sure Virat can drop Umesh Yadav. You just need some accountability in decision making

This is the same foolishness we are repeating picking player in wrong condition.

Its proven that dhawan can score in subcontinent condition but u cant pick him in overseas for that, Pujara can score 10 ducks but still is better then Dhawan in test. We did same in SA when we dropped rahane for Rohit and keep picking umesh for home perfomances. Dhawan doesnt even have a single 50 in 2 tours of SA n ENG

IF they cant differentiate between conditions that wud be the resuly

it shud be clear in nets, when ashwin bowled in 4th test it clear he wasnt using his full body in action and was immediately caught.

again when will we learn to differentiate these things, easy or tough its costing .

We literally defend that TM cant take hard calls

Dhawan playd all 5 test , Shaw was called to england for last 2 test

NEw ball doesnt mean 1st over always, its duke and it looses it glaze very late now...he cud be even given ball after 10 overs and its still new. Pandya has a damn good outswing and thats what trouble every top batsman.

When they are given practice game they choose to end it early

In SA they choose not to play it only

We did that in england coz their was no choice

New might just work but TTFs will never

Doesnt matter had it changed or not but atleast play ur best XI, neways we didnt get a drubbing games were close so u never knw with right XI.

Haha i dont think you remember nz tour of 2001 and whether the captain was sacked or not after that humiliation.

Again it helps watching cricket instead of cricbuzz, the only reason we were beaten in SA was Abdevilliers and guess what he retired  which helped Srl win a series. (although still a monumental effort)

Why don't you mention how west indies thrashed eng in wi but we whitewashed them.

Secondly winning in Aus was a monumental effort

Again you are being obtuse, do u really think that any indian captain would have given pant a debut at the start of the series? Really.

Secondly @Serpico are you talking about 2019 ashes? Bcoz Starc wasn't dropped he was injured.

I realise that Dhawan should have been removed but the problem is that if you check both rahuls and dhawans record till the 4th test dhawan was doing better.

So how do u expect me not to blame captain when u have to defend his conservative call. Teams who thinks conservatively will never succeed

As i said it doesnt matter what ends up happening coz no one can predict but u go in a match with best XI . U cant predict who will end up doing well , i mean who thought pandya will pick a fifer but u have to pick ur best n balanced XI and then whatever happens happens .

Dhawan has been utter crap overseas so him being on tour in 1st place was wrong

Starc was dropped. And that is after a sensational world cup performance

https://sportstar.thehindu.com/cricket/live-cricket-score-ashes-2019-england-vs-australia-edgbaston-mitchell-starc-josh-hazlewood-dropped/article28783752.ece

You said Virat dropped Pujara because he was in poor form, so why couldn't he drop Umesh? Again you are just trying to defend him at all costs without any consistent logic. If he drops a quality player, it must the players fault. If he debuts a no hoper like thakur ahead of saini/siraj, it must be the selectors. But when Bumrah performs well, its because Virat instilled a fast bowling culture and hence he gets the credit

Why don't you compare with 1930s Indian team lol, Virats record will look even more impressive. We have the best bowling attack in our history at the moment and you are saying we should be fine with same kind of performance we got in 2001? btw in that tour odi series wasn't whitewashed and kohli somehow achieved that feat in 2020

Says everything. A 7th-8th ranked team getting blanked in NZ vs a number 1 test side getting blanked in NZ , both are the same.

Be happy with the wins vs SL, WI and a 2nd rung Australia if you think that's a great achievement. I'll keep holding my expectations a bit higher than that.

India faced a 2nd rung Australian team in 2003 too(without mcgrath and warne) and guess what, we still didn't win. Winning against a 2nd rung Australia is also hell of an achievement.

Ashes 2005 aus missed mcgrath

Aus in ind 2004 - sachin an harbhajan missed two tests.

Both these series are considered as big series victories.

So don't give me the cr** that winning against second rung Australia is a nothing achievement

Rohit and Dhawan missed the odi series. Lol

Have some feeling for your team too, you don't waste a moment in justifying australias loss in 2018.
