But in real life india there were millions who believed in his India at the same time here were millions were busy slitting the throats of belivers. So someone has to break the trance of millions of Gandhian ahinsavaadi Gandhi has his ideals. He probably believed in an india where all religions coexist , and that is the only way to fight british. But his weakness lies in he was a coward, for the sake of unity he was ready to compromise his ideals. So instead of accepting, he changed his ideals. Case in point, he kind of justified swami shraddanad's murder by Kerala rajakars. He knew that there is a bigger goal of attaning the freedom , hence smaller battles have to be lost. I know it angered Hindu Maha sabha , but without Gandhi was never a traitor. He didn't like the division of the country. Its just he was supreme leader and partition happened resulted in HM getting angry and eventually his killing. But that killing did make more harm than good, and it also helped Gandhi to become father of the nation.

Sent from my vivo 1601 using Tapatalk There was a question asked by British to him when he came to London for some meeting during 2nd world war. How does his method of non violence work against someone like Hitler. He answer was to standby his principal of non-violence and Hitler will have a change of heart. Even today does anyone in right mind actually believe that? Maybe @Khota If anything ask jews do they believed in Gandhijis answer. Do you see the world as BJP v/s non-BJP? People can have varied views on different subjects. It is not like Quran. It is acceptable to differ views. That is plurality that we should ideally stand for, not secularism.

Yoda-esque Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Gandhi was a politician. One of the best ever. I have no doubts that he believed a 100% in all his principles. He believed his way or the highway and expected everyone to be and think like him. No different from a dictator minus the direct genocides. However he did play a role in the caliphate moment and other such genocides by being passive and peddling this ahimsa theory. He was fine and safe with his show the other cheek theories but it was the rest who were getting their faces ripped off. Gandhi is great because he practiced what he preached and he is undoubtedly a great man. When people can question religion and god,why can’t you question a human being like Gandhi? His call for supporting khilafat resulted in mophla massacres

Go home and let others strive then complain we are poor. When you compare to corporate work place . You always have ppl against change they want to keep working the same way they did when they entered workplace 10+ years ago . They never progress then complain about the new guy who got onboard with the change is now their director ...

They were just another sect like many other sects who fought moguls. PunterLog and Singh bling 1 1
Yoda-esque Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Maratha empire stretched from atyock near Peshawar to thanjavur in TN.Sikhs were nowhere then. They only found some prominence after the third pbatyle of panipat and their "empire" stretched from punjab to Jammu. So don't believe when these guys say they saved hindus lol

The Sikh empire was extremely tiny compared to the Maratha empire. The Sikh PR has given rise to this myth. Sikhs fought to save their lands from Invaders, them saving Hindus was just the side effect. https://pragyata.com/the-mighty-myth-of-sikhs-saving-hinduism
