They will become such a big monopoly thay nobody in india would stand against them. Their working is not ethical at all. I can post quite a few examples but just let's start with below one. You expect him to a hire a lawyer for fighting a case against corporates. Haryana it's bjp government. In punjab has amrinder become chief minister for ever. And you think people are dying to generate attention. As I had posted a Orfonline opinion, there are a number of measures missing in these laws that need to be implemented to make the new laws be effective. These laws give new opportunities for farmers to not be stuck with APMC, middlemen. They can also sell across geographical regions if logistics are worked out. 94% of farmers don’t get MSP. If the procurement of wheat and paddy gets distributed across the country, PH farmers get to lose out their lion share. They will be forced to grow other crops like pulses. The water table in P is receding due to abundance of growing wheat and paddy. The famous Punj-Ab rivers will dry out if they keep growing these crops and sugarcane. It is in their interest to diversify and not depend on APMCs or MSP only. The new laws have provisions for legal cases and they can form new groups and unions to fight greedy private companies, The whole country has private companies buying from producers directly cutting out middlemen. In Karnataka, the coffee growers were stuck with coffee board and price fixing. Now they are directly selling to private companies like Coffee Day and Barista and avoid any price fixing by government. They have unions and coops helping any legal complications. These are some of the models already implemented in the country that PH can follow. They can ensure safeguards by negotiating now with the government. But WTH do I know, I am after all a NRI sanghi bhakt. Good attempt to deflect my comment on those blocking roads for attention , to dying people, BTW. Edited January 10, 2021 by coffee_rules

The idea is to draw people in based on the need to purchae food and induce them into purchasing clothes and electronics which are high value items. With JioMart, Facebook and Reliance Jio have set eyes on India’s burgeoning small traders population, its farmers and MSMEs. “Our focus will be India’s 60 million micro, small and medium businesses, 120 million farmers, 30 million small merchants and millions of small and medium enterprises in the informal sector,” Reliance Jio said in the statement announcing the Jio-Facebook deal. With bigger corporations running the show the fear is that this fraction will further reduce. These subsidies that these farmers get are not something they keep in their pocket. These are passed on to the consumer too. Yet, you avoided key aspects. And why didnt farmers get MSP earlier? The corrupt middleman. The farm bills corrects it, and gives and helps particular small farmers, by direct access to markets. And great, you have mentioned “consumers”. Shouldnt the common man get lower prices which is one key benefit of the farm bills? You really are against the common man, and the small farmers. You are pro-rich, and these include rich farmers. When will the mob pay for the billions lost due to their selfish actions of blockade? Again, another move to against common man. Also, when will they pay for the environment damages? And dont be so technology and economic backward. Today, your arguments are no different than in 1991, where one example of how maids would be out, if washing machines comes.

Again i fail to see the point in all of this. I have a simple question for you. Do you think as it stands indias supply chain management is efficient.? Under the old system onions were bought for rs30 in nashik are sold for rs 70 at vashi wholesale market and rs120 across mumbai. Why not buy from the farmer at rs 50 and sell to the consumer for rs90? You think Ambani will have a free run?
