That's too hard bro.. Amir's crime is not comparable to what those animals did. Here was a poor guy trying to make quick buck.

Yes I do agree that I am very harsh here, but believe me, when you are as Gifted as Amir was, going ahead and pissing over it for a few bucks that too when you are representing your country is a criminal to say the least. It was suicidal in Amirs case though. He was the victim of his own acts. I give it to him for that.  You are right,  that's too hard of me.

Bullsh!t. PCB invested everything in their power to bring him back after the ban. What does he go & do? Retires from Test cricket! How selfish.

Have you seen him bowling of late? Lack of pace...no fitness...he is done & it is nobody else’s fault but himself.

He was bowling at a good pace in WC and even LPL he was bowling at 135 plus consistently, as for the fitness, then why Naseem Shah, Wahab Riaz are in the team? You think Amir is worse than Haris Rauf, Musa and Faheem?

RP Singh won a WC and CT for India that too one in which he took the wickets of Gilchrist, Ponting and Hayden in first 10 overs? If yes then he is better, If no then I don't think so

He did get Hafeez and Akmal early in 2007 Wt20 final :adore: And he was defending lesser total, not gigantic 338

He was trundling in late 120’s-133 in LPL.

At least Wahab & Naseem have the desire.

So? Is it his fault that the team set 338? and as far as I remember in 2007, 157 was as good as 300 in ODIs and Hafeez was not as good as he became in 2010 plus. Don't forget SL chased almost the same total in the same ground in the same tournament against India. So are you trying to imply that Pakistan's attack was better than India's in that tournament or India is just not a good team which cannot perform under pressure

Which desire? I have desire to play. Does that mean Pakistan should select me?

Exactly. Even I don't support his acts at all. In a cricketing sense, he did the worst thing possible.

Chasing 339 in a final is very different from normal game. I.didnt say it's his fault, just that his job became easier by their batsmen performance. His ct final bowling is overrated, but anyways that's not my original point. Even average cricketers can deliver great performances sometimes in crunch situation. So don't give one off performance to justify greatness, true greats have great performances throughout their career

It was not a normal game for SL by any stretch imagination. It was like a final for SL too as if they lost they would have been out of the tournament and sent back home. That means Rohit Sharma is not as good as people think he is, He has rarely performed in a big game like SF or Final. Failed to chase 240 odd in Manchester. It's not about one off game either, He was Pakistans best bowler in almost all the ICC tournaments he played.

He's definitely not 28. Probably 32-33 and is in decline. PCB didn't mismanage him, they dropped him for non performance. This could be good for both parties.. he can play in all the leagues and make some money before his body gives up and pakistan can look forward at upcoming talent

His original 5 year loss was bigger tragedy and will always be a big what if

5 years is not such a big deal. Cummins cane back after 6 and is doing just fine. Amir was just not good enough. Shaheen Afridi is doing a fine job as left arm Pacer and I didn't even notice that Amir isn't playing. Amir is a bust with or without the ban. Time to move on.

Hasan Ali was the best Pakistani bowler of the 2017 Champions Trophy and also awarded the Man of the tournament. So go easy on all the Amir hyping.

When Pakistan set a target of 340 in the finals, the game was already 95% in their favour. You may see 300s , 340s , 350s chased during Bi-Laterals but never during the ICC tournaments. With or without Amir, Pakistan was winning that game thanks to that freak ton by Fakhar Zaman.

First of all opting out of Test cricket and now this, is absolutely selfish. No matter what people say here, PCB fought for him, the Pakistani crowd still supported him. This is another low by him.

This guy will never succeed in life. He is just too self centred and seems to take decisions in a haste.

Dude you're so detached from reality with this amir worship. Umra gul was their best bowler in 2009 Wt20 and won them the cup. Amir wasn't even their fourth best bowler in 09. Ajmal was their best bowler in 2010 Wt20 (until his semis choke against hussey). All their bowlers flopped in 2016 Wt20 and amir was still not better than other flops. Hasan Ali was the player of tournament in ct 2017 and outbowled amir until he got injured in 2018.

Only time he was pakistan's best bowler was wc2019 and even then he fizzled out by the end and was outbowled in must win matches. His one claim to greatness in LOIs is ct 2017 final. Stop overhyping one match great performance into something more. Shaheen will easily run laps around Amir's career achievements in LOIs

And what exactly Shaheen has done so far? Did you see his performance in Eng and Australia? Was averaging over 50 consistently. Amir is clearly one of the best bowlers in Pakistan currently

Who cares about that? Fact is, Amir is ungrateful & selfish. He deserved not to be selected.
