cric_fan Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Apparently he is unhappy with the current management for being sidelined.
Gollum Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 After all that PCB has done for him, after all that Pak fans have done for him despite his betrayal. With 2 T20 WCs lined up.....entitled clown. Now he will shift to Eng and play in IPL in a couple of years time, like Azhar Mahmood. Mosher, AuxiliA, sandeep and 2 others 5

What has PCB done for him? he was an asset so they tried to use him.He never was that great as they made himout to be.Nothing wrong with him opting to make most of his career. BCCI should do a KLPD and not pick him in IPL even if he gets British residency express bowling, beetle, nevada and 1 other 4
MechEng Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Irfan Pathan tried to change his natural bowling action and he wasn't getting that late swing anymore, margin for error is so tiny in international cricket. 5 years ka gap toh klpd kar dega.
WC2011INDIA Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 First, get british, south africa or australian citizenship. Then get in touch with koli for RCB contract. jf1gp_1, beetle and Norman 3

Sandeep99 Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 What could've been... the only player from the current Pakistan setup that has the ability to put fear among oppositions. I know he fcked up but he could have given test cricket some amazing moments had he continued fro 2009-2014.
Franco Vazquez Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 I blame selectors for this. Amir still won two ICC tournaments for Pakistan with exceptional performances in both finals. More than what Waqar has done. Not to forget he was Pakistan's best bowler in WC too before Shaheen started taking cheap wickets.
Sean Bradley Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 (edited) The biggest achievement of his Career was helping Pakistan lift the Champions Trophy by picking up Rohit & Kohli Earlier in the final, apart from that a career full of indiscipline, lack of form, fitness, and cheating. Ideally he never deserved a come back, it was only because of bhukkad PCB that he was allowed to return to Cricket. I have never fathomed the leniency against Juvenile criminals. You can literally commit Murders, Rapes, Sell off your country and still walk scot free just because you are under age. Amir for me is only second to the Juvenile criminal of the Nirbhaya Case and will always be remembered for that. Edited December 17, 2020 by Sean Bradley Franco Vazquez and TheWall 1 1

Serpico Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 He's definitely not 28. Probably 32-33 and is in decline. PCB didn't mismanage him, they dropped him for non performance. This could be good for both parties.. he can play in all the leagues and make some money before his body gives up and pakistan can look forward at upcoming talent His original 5 year loss was bigger tragedy and will always be a big what if

Here was a poor guy trying to make quick buck. AuxiliA and Rightarmfast 2

Imagine there are 35 players selected and he's not one of them. It's a clear indicator that the management doesn't want him in the squad because of the ego issue. He is a bigger star for Pakistan than Waqar and Misbah both. A big jealousy factor.
The Realist Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 RP Singh > And he's probably younger too

No it's not. Thats why there are different punishments for different crimes. He was just trying to make a quick buck by doing something which would not affect the result of the game.

If yes then he is better, If no then I don't think so

Retires from Test cricket! How selfish. Have you seen him bowling of late? Lack of pace...no fitness...he is done & it is nobody else’s fault but himself.
