There is spin in the wicket & Aussies have 4 LHB in their team..  So Ashwin will be critical.  This a attack Stumps kind of pitch as all dismissal happened that way.  So Umesh's  SC type bowling can work too.

Ashwin looks great with the bat so Hope for the best.

Yes, our bowlers are quality.

Its frustrating to see the own goals prevent India from being in a much healthier position than the current one.

But who will score those 70 runs? I fully expect Saha and Ashwin edge it to slips in the first 5 overs of tomorrow. There's a good chance that we don't get to bowl with a new ball under lights in the entire test match. From what I've seen in the practice match, we're in for some leather hunt. Smith, Labu :nervous:

We score 280 285 we win. If Aus even scores 300 and india gives them a target of 250 under lights and with uneven 4th day pitch and 4 left handed batsmen against Ahswin. Add to it second innings shami straight thunderbolts and bumrah disconcerting bounce i ll say we will WIN. Actually the 30 run partnership now Ash and Saha is looking crucial

Have you seen Ashwin bowl well/pick up wickets in any SENA test match? I don;t remember a single match!

Well someone has to..  Otherwise it'll be tough.  Ashwin plays pace well than spin so in the Morning Aussies will likely go with Pace too.

Smith & Labu hmm..  Doesn't matter you had to get them out either way to win.  Backing Ashwin to get either one of them.

Self Goal by Rahane indeed..  Aussies would have been shaking if we were 4 down at stumps.

Adelaide 2018 was the last & only..  I know I hate him as well but still against left handers he is quality.

Lol when you have scoreboard pressure and the fear of playing under lights with ball spinning it wong be easy for aussies ..

Lol cricinfo says Aus ahead whereas Hazelwood in interview is glum and says its even..

We need to somehow play the entire first session tomorrow. Even if we make just 50 runs I'm ok.

If that happens, we will win. Australia will have to bat in the twilight 2nd session and I back our bowlers to get their openers before 50 runs.

Day 2- IND 300  (Bowled out at dinner)

            AUS- 180/5 stumps

I will take it anyday of the week.

The moment india crosses 250 with 4 wickets in hand every single run will add pressure on aussies.. we just need to be calm.. first  7 overs reach 250 and takr it from there.. i would like to see following scores from lower order

shami 8

bumrah 5

umesh 7

ie 20 runs from these three

Bas bahat hai

Target should be to play full session tomorrow and then go slow with over rate in 2nd session (Ashwin can make up later and anyway Kohli is leaving the squad, won't matter even if he misses a test against Eng at home), leaves us with a semi-new ball in critical 3rd session.
