TNAmarkFromIndia
During the final Test, many former players and commentators began talking about the Border-Gavaskar Trophy needing to be a 5-match series. What do you think? Should it be increased to 5 or stay at 4? Link to comment
Lone Wolf
I think it was Warne only... 4 tests is enough I guess. 5 is too long. express bowling 1 Link to comment

Ashes is obviously an exception. 5 match India Eng series is always an overkill since 2014. England also plays 4 match series vs Saffers. Link to comment
express bowling
4 test series is ideal for a good test series between 2 big teams. 5 tests means tired players and lesser intensity. Bowlers may hold back from the start of the series and bowl within themselves. 3 tests is too few. Edited January 20, 2021 by express bowling nevada and Lone Wolf 2 Link to comment
G_B_
I think 4 matches are enough. You basically ensure in a way you get 3 good tests even if 1 is washed out. England probably makes sense with 5 tests given that rain can ruin a lot of tests. Link to comment
BacktoCricaddict
It is becoming so predictably one-sided that, for the sake of the Ozzies, we should stop playing this series for a while Cricspin and nevada 2 Link to comment
