Trichromatic Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 England defeated India by inning in 1976 last time. Seems like team wants to create different history under Kohli. Rightarmfast and RAZPOR 2
PunterLog Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Looking at the way our batsmen played, I think the team is trying to pull-off a coup against Kohli. helperononline, RAZPOR, express bowling and 1 other 4

Serpico Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 I don't think England will enforce follow on. Gotta keep their bowlers fresh, this is a long series
helperononline Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 We need to train this next match https://www.facebook.com/IndianCricketTeam/videos/394525931498641/
Rightarmfast Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Match is heading towards a draw. England cant win this one.

Samcric Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Once the lead falls below 250 (currently 321), England will not enforce follow on. Innings defeat is still possible if India are all out by 310-320. Especially if Leach & Bess seem penetrative with the new ball (due in 6 overs). The rate at which pitch deteriorates tomorrow will be absolutely vital in determining if there is an Innings defeat (or a big defeat in terms of runs). If pitch holds up nicely and India bat out 2 sessions (Ashwin & Washington will have to do it, others can't), India can entertain thoughts of a draw. Unfortunately, the likes of Rohit, Virat and Rahane have left it to Ashwin & Sundar to create another kutti story. Law of averages is also against India - to do it in 3 tests consecutively and draw/win from behind is difficult.
