Sky uploaded their full 45 minute segment

Balanced remarks by Atherton and Hussain... They say the pitch is probably tilted very much in favour of bowlers but acknowledge England should have prepared and batted much better than they did. Rob Key can't accept the fact that England were outplayed... Just blaming the quality of the pitch for England's performance

To balance this out. Atherton, Dobell and Hussain had no problem with it

Has England played a pink ball test at home. If not, have them prepare a decent wicket and use the pink ball and you will find out history being created. The last time we played the pink ball test, we were rolled out for 36 in an afternoon session with no clouds above the stadium. no one complained and everybody including Indian fans were blaming the batsmen for the poor performance

Just the one against a very poor West Indies team at Edgbaston. It lasted 3 days

I thought it was common knowledge that these pink ball Tests are utterly bizarre wherever they’re played, so I’m not really sure what all the fuss is about from certain people

Another pink ball test. England were bowled out for 58 vs NZ and ended up losing by an innings.

To be fair Root has previously called a Lords pitch "substandard"

“I don’t like saying this but the wicket was substandard for a Test match,” Root said after Ireland were bowled out for 38. “It wasn’t even close to being a fair contest between bat and ball throughout the whole game.”

He admitted his team “weren’t at our best by any stretch” but, in what came across as a pretty clear dig at the Lord’s groundsman, Karl McDermott, Root said: “When you are getting scores like that, that tells a story in itself.”

Probably because England were bowled out for 85 in the first dig and Ire were 130/2 at one point. They couldn't drive the nail into the match's coffin.

India went to Australia. Got rolled over at Adelaide after having the upper hand. Australia prepared a spicy pitch in Melbourne. India didnt complain and won convincingly. India didnt complain about pitch conditions across the tour. And now England comes to India and they start moaning about everything even the colour of crows flying in sky

If you have ever spent any meaningful amount of time around Poms, you know they are not happy unless they have something to complain about. Such a miserable lot the Poms are.
