Dew + Flat pitches in T20WC21 could mean planning on playing more pacers

As I have mentioned on some of the threads, if dew is going to be a big factor + flat pitches, Ind may need to plan on playing at least 4 pacers among its 5-6 bowlers 

 

Pace: Bumrah

Pace: Natrajan (if in form to bowl yorkers) 

Pace: -> Bhuvi, Shami, Prasidh, Saini, D Chahar, Thakur, ... ... if the conditions favor spin, an additional spinner can be slotted in here 

Spin: Varun C, Sundar, R Chahar, ...  ... if conditions do not favor spin, add another pacer if required 

Pace: SDP (pace + bat)

Spin: Tewatia/Jadeja/... (spin + bat)

this also means building a team that can score 20-25 extra always . In 2016 semi it was rahane innings that made us fall short of some 20-25 runs .

Lol. We selected 3 friggin spinners for England. Pretty sure they'll want even 4 spinners since its Indian conditions. Obsession with soin cost us CT, was partly responsible for WC '19 failure as well.

It wasn't obsession with spin, it was this sh!thead that cost us the final - Jadeja/Ashwin both bowled well in the CT but no oh no *er wanted to chase on a belter! But as we all know he is the biggest choker of them all, guess how many he scored in that game?
