Why playing for Mumbai Indians is an extraordinary privilege !

Recommended Posts

Imagine playing for someone who is the 3rd most powerful man in India ( after PM Ji and HM ji )

Someone who is personally much much wealthier than all the other IPL owners and their consortiums put together. Probably Asia’s richest man today.

While overall player budgets are capped to make it a level playing field, expenses outside that are at the owner discretion.

The money involved in an IPL franchise is less than pocket change for someone like him.

From what’s seen outside, the MI players are taken care off extraordinarily. No expenses spared to prime them.

Have to say the Pandya brothers are born with some extraordinary luck.  They and their next few generations are set for life.

What i meant was in general anyone who is playing for a team with limitless resources and reach is lucky - the best of every kind of help required to perform is accessible - all on the house. So all local and international players are in a sense lucky.

With the Pandyas - both the brothers are in. MI spends extremely lavishly for player well being.

India is privileged to have Mumbai Indians excellent scouting programme picking up a conveyor belt of top talent for the national team and training up the best players under the stewardship of the greatest Indian captain and a high class tactics and analytical team

Agreed. Their involvement means they are doing probably a better job than our national selectors in propping up the cream local talent.
