Few words for haters...plz

Indeed bro  !

For the first time in our history we have at last found a world class FAST bowler in Bumrah who averages 21.7 with 123  test wickets.from only 29 tests .. 4.24 wickets per test ... SR 49 .. Fastest ball of 153.3 kph or 95.3 mph.

All this is just amazing !!

We should lend him our full support.

A few bad IPL games in a season won't define what he is.

Like you always say, we should be very patient with him.

I hope by the time he finishes his career he is remembered for helping us win a trophy in a big game like he did in the 2018 BG series. Like kohli his rep has been hurt a little by his performances in KOs.

He will still be our greatest test fast bowler regardless imo.

This is the kind of stuff which is impossible to hit

Consistent hostility at 88 mph to 92 mph by Bumrah.

Does not even need slower balls.

Accurate hostility picks wickets and checks runs.

Baby pace according to a few butt hurt Pak pensioners, need to heal the burn for them.

Probably too proud of the pregnant pace of their pace attack

@express bowling
Outgoing Bevda has to say something

He has a point here, pitches getting slower,he needs to vary his lengths

Mubaiya School of thoughts

This is why ind struggled to produce pacers over the years, and Mumbai can only produce batsmen. Why can't he diss the pitches which neutralised umran. We need pitches with a bit of grass like in the mi v kkr match.

Cricket in India has been mostly dominated by Mumbaiya region,so no surprise there he's not critcizing pitches which are literally showing nothing for pace, bounce for few games now

But, yes,it is what it is, can't complain pitches will remain like that as IPL is really long

Umran needs to outdo the pitches here,he doesn't need to listen to these clowns anyway

He should just talk to Steyn

The problem with his statement is that he talks about cutting down pace and using it sparingly in T20s, if Umran can't control it.

Umran's control was excellent in the middle 4 games. Which shows that he van control the ball at 150 k to 153 k.

So why not talk about practicing control at full pace !!

While Shastri's believes in pace in test matches, he somehow believes that trundlers are needed in white ball cricket. Perhaps the reason why Bumrah and Shami have bowled quickest in tests and slowest in T20s. And Shami was benched more often than not while picking wickets by the dozen in ODIs.

Control cam come at pace too ... Steyn did it and Bumrah and Cummins are doing it.  When will Indian oldies understand this !!

Oldies have no value better don't listen them

Instead pay heed to legends of the game like Steyn and people like Bishop,Doull who know about fast bowling than yesteryear tuktuki bevda spinner

They believe(foolish belief) if pace is there you can't get hit ,if you get hit then should drop pace

T20s variations matter but in shape of Lockie

Lockie is best limited overs bowler in the world right now, young pacers who want to do well in t20s should look up to him not Boobie(who has failed time and again)etc

Yesterday pitch looked quite spicy as shown by performance of Bumrah and Cummins

Foreign ex players don't ahy away from complaining about pitches when there pacers face the heat but here in India apologetics pass comments on their own

But Indian oldies control Indian cricket. And they firmly believe that pace will go for runs in white ball cricket.

Sadly, Steyn and Bishop have no say in what goes on in Team India.

Let Umran play for India .... he may bowl quickly in tests but may slowly lose pace in the shorter formats as there may be directions to do so.

Have you noticed how Prasidh was bowling slower for Team India in LOIs and bowling 5 kph quicker now ?

I am understanding from Shastri's statement why India has never produced a true Express bowler before and why so many Indians have lost pace in LOIs while bowling quickly in tests.

This also tells us why Shastri, the coach, was so good in tests and so bad in LOIs.

I hope Shastri is last batch of these oldies

And things get better going forward
