Don't think a fragile type tbh...

He is very young, just 21 years old. His body will get stronger by 23-24. Aaron was getting a lot injured when he was 22-23 but once he crossed age of 25 he hardly got injured and played domestics consistently, it a different matter though that his performance nosedived.

Fragile body frames is of Pandya, Washy, D Chahar. Who will get injured every now and then despite doing nothing.

He doesn't look 21, btw.

Aaron always looked more robust than Mayank, though latter is quicker

Looks like he was rushed back before full recovery.

either that (which is more likely indeed) or he will go the "ngam" route

For me personally...it's better to be a Bond than a Kyle Mills.

Gambhir has played less games than Rohit, but he is the star performer for 2 out of 3 ICC trophy final which we have won under MSD.

yeah, but I was not comparing bond to mills. comparison was lee/akhtar vs ngam/schulz. and the choice is quite clear.

Pat Cummins bowled 150.7 kph delivery to Jaiswal.

Boy smashed it for a humongous six.

He is a monster talent. Damn Cummins really turning it up with pace.

I don't think so.

People were skeptical of Bumrah and he has been playing for 8+ years and is the best bowlers in the world now.

I don't remember boomer pulling up short in t20s when he was young, or even FCs (over 4 days).

That opinion was because of his weird action.

Pulling up within a match is quite common.

The 2nd one happened because he was introduced before he recovered. Even before he pulled up, he was running in slowly and with a shorter run-up from ball one. Rahul also confirmed that he told phisios to get him ready quickly.

He needs to mould his action, upper and lower body out of place

This is all about it

Even with his current action he's able to generate 155k

He will get injured like rinse and repeat

Given his age,he will be used to his new action if he does it quickly, time is there

He has a mixed action but I don't think it's problem because his back leg rotates vert fast. So his body alignment at the crease is fine. Some lateral flexion is always there in every fast bowler.

Sakaria impact sub.

Sakib not there.

Posted this previously as well, there is no prefect IPL team/set-up for any certain player or kind of players.

Its either they are part of core or they are not.

If Umran would have not got those 2/3 garbage time matches in his 1st season, do not think we would have seen Umran playing in IPLs.

Similarly do not think Mayank would have happened if Umran would not have/had a v.good 2nd season where he was scaring star Ind batters.

Tyagi is sitting out for Nalkande and Mohit who is is same ball park bracket as Umran (Who is also sitting out this season )and Mayank.

Its what it is, low potential player make it to IPL teams(or Ind team for that matter), be it they pose as allrounders who in reality can neither bowl nor bat or trundler who poses as some kind of t20 specialist bowlers who have multiple variations.

Klaasen has been smashing Chahal since 2018

Any power hitter or batter with modern t20 shots will have stick on Chahal.

He is not attacking stumps or getting batters out edging or deceiving batters with goggly or some variation,  he relies or power failure or mishits from batter.

A batter who moves around in the crease or plays sweep will be hard for him to get their wkt.
