More importantly, he has always delivered when he has been under pressure in the end overs. This can be priceless in a big tournament. He is really good at what he does recent form apart. But every bowler has his strength and should stick to it. So Mavi should stick to his strength, element that brought him in limelight. In India, there is abundance of upcoming fast bowling talent. Next u19 batch is just here and some serious fast bowling talent is on display in Prince Badiani, Vasu Vats and Golam Mustafa. If going flat out at 145+ isn't yielding the right results for him, I see nothing wrong in trying to go through a few games where he prioritises control, gets wickets, gains confidence and then goes back to his natural pace (which is still there, he has shown in this IPL itself he can go 140+ at will).
