RR management are a bunch of idiots. They need to look at how Steyn and the SRH team management are backing Umran giving him all the freedom to bowl quick even if he might go for runs in a few matches and now Umran is performing really well.

"Confidence is the big thing. The first two-three games, he went for a couple of runs; that's what happens when you are a fast bowler, bowling at the speed he is bowling at. You can very easily lose a little bit of faith in yourself, you might want to change something - 'maybe I should bowl slightly slower with more control'. But he has been given the go ahead by the coaching staff," Steyn pointed out.

"The guys have told him 'there are going to be days when you will go for runs because of how fast you bowl, not because you bowl badly'. Another day you run in and take four wickets and bowl a maiden over, that's also what pace does. You have to take the good with the bad. He has realised that if he sits in that middle ground, he is going to be successful. He is accepting the days when things will not go well because of his pace and loving the days when it goes really well. Then being humble by bringing himself back to the middle ground where he can carry on. It is great to see that."

Bro, this is gold  !

How I wish our other coaching staff understood the psyche of true fast bowlers.

The RR management has totally mishandled Kuldeep Sen despite a brilliant debut.

Jansen offers them batting depth & has bowled well so far.  His new ball bowling has been too good. Boobie hasn't been dreadful too.  Breaking into SRH pace attack right now is toughest.

Tyagi would be a sure starter in MI RCB KKR type teams..  Even in CSK for that matter.   MI desperately needs someone like him

Jansen is not someone who is vital cog of their machinery, they can try few combinations

Tyagi is someone who can serve their purpose quite well for many years

Tyagi can offer what Jansen does, better

Bhuvi is their darling hard to drop him

RR has Steffan Jones as high performance bowling coach, still no input given about bowlers he works with

Interesting how different Olympic lifters throw a baseball , also how hard they can hit.

Doesn't seem to throw that fast. Yes more strength means Harder hit.

Another butthurt Pak fan, something clearly has triggered, it must be hard for them seeing the amount pacers india have. Just imagine when someone like akashdeep has a higher ceiling than their best prospects in five day cricket.  We haven't yet seen hangarekar, tyagi and Sushant Mishra. Am loving the seethe in that forum.

These offcutters are working but batters will get used to it, specially right-handers .To keep them guessing needs to add a deceptive legcutter as well ,his action  suits it.

He feels more control bowling that, most find it tough to bowl legcutters

there's always knuckly balls :dontknow:

On serious note, they need to perfect yorkers. Slower ball can only be support deliveries

If the arm is lower it's harder to bowl.

Even for high armers, arm coming from side will obviously pose problems

Dayal bowled up to 141.5 in the first over.

According to Pakistanies, speed gun is rigged for Indian bowlers. Pakistanies say dayal is a trundler. I won't call a 135-141 a trundler. More like fast medium.

KG isn't very tall. Both are around 6'2. Ngidi is tall at 6'5. Avesh, khaleel, Kuldeep almost similar heights. Prasidh maybe an inch taller.
