Pathirana if he maintains his fitness is going to be one of the toughest bowler to face.
Even Malinga was not this quick...145-147 max

Tough SL good for the game

Pathirana has very high ceiling, looks to have brains and is mature enough to bear the brunt of batsmen

Meanwhile it's very frustrating to see a super talented bowler like Tyagi warming the bench and not getting game time to get better and improve his skills. He would be better off in some other franchise.

“SRH are playing Umran Malik, but he bowled only two overs in the match against Delhi. Instead of him, they could have played a batter. If you don’t trust him as a bowler, it’s better to bring in a batsman to the team,” Jaffer told ESPNcricinfo. “Delhi were 62/5 at one point, but Hyderabad allowed them to reach 144. If they had bowled better, things could have been easier for them. Letting Delhi make 144 was a mistake by SRH,”

What is this guys problem in life. SRH totally lost it coz of their batting. This guys been going after him since his debut LOL.

in contrast, Brett Lee —  “You’ve mentioned Umran Malik. I think the thing about Sunrisers Hyderabad is that I don’t think they have used their bowlers in the right positions so I would love to see Umran Malik in the powerplay. He has bowled once in a powerplay this season and he went for 20-odd runs but that was a one-off case. It’s almost like saying to a batsman that you have to bat but if you get a duck you never going to bat ever again. You need to have faith and you need to have a commitment in these guys coming through. I would always give the fast bowler in IPL a brand new ball and give him the correct field, giving him the confidence to run and bowl the old ball,"

Loser insecure mindset vs a positive one. Now I’m not sure about the new ball but just look at the difference in their attitude.

Jaffer has been anti Umran Malik since the beginning.

He supports trundlers.  Stopped taking him seriously months ago.
