That's where Mayank is special...he seems confident of his ability. Tyagi too seems lost just like Umran.

Ball was just not coming right from his hand in this action. I want him to go back and bowl with this loading. This was just perfect. Bowled with same loading in UPTL and SMA trophy.

He should have attempted double bluff...Bumrah since his younger days used to do that.

His technique is all over the place ,equivalent of a big hitter who is swinging like a rusty gate ,not a smart fella .His coaches arent any good either ,same as mavi.

For Kartik, it's all about trying to bowl fast. Everything he does is to bowl faster than previously. But there needs to be a limit, you can't continue to change. You need to settle down and stick to one approach. Approach which already made you bowl 150k consistently need not have to do changed.

In 1st over he was not far off getting into 150s, thought he would touch it next overs but pace was reduced and not 1 ball which looked like wkt taking ball.

agree with you...karthik's original action was super fast but now he is at least a bit accurate and has some control over his bowling.

i guess the new action is BETTER in that case at least he is having some control now.

he did well but yes he did not excel like Mayank but still some of his balls were literally unplayable Jaffa's.

 

he may get another chance to play in next match and lets see how he performs.

could it be that he is not taking things either too much or too less seriously? seems to be trying things at random: don't know whether it because of taking it casually or because of desperation. neither is good

Well bowled overall tyagi despite getting hit. He is getting there. Pace is up. 

Bounce is there.

Dip in pace could be due to new action, takes time to build same pace after pace change. But need to settle on 1 action.

Its okay to fix bits in the action but changing the entire action..... no good

Tyagi had such a watchable action...  And used to generate serious pace from it. 

Doesn't look the same bowler anymore...  Too much tinkering,  too much feedback like in the case of Umran.  Both are at the crossroads really.
