Why play a lead front line fast bowler and give him just 1 over in the entire match? How does that make sense?

Siraj, Prasidh should have been rested and Ashok, Gurnoor given some games

When you have other newbies, like Prince Yadav, executing one good yorker after another at good enough pace, in the same conditions ... these type of logic will feel like excuses to selectors.

It's about habit. Prince probably has done it in the heat of Delhi before. But bowlers who remain injured a lot haven't build the habit to do that. Prince comes from tennis ball background. So he is a different case.

Dont know why RCB has such boring military medium bowlers. Dont feel like watching bowling of my own city's team.

Most IPL teams are like that, they're brave on the batters and conservative on the bowlers.
GT is an exception, they packed all the bowlers and choose zero options for batters. One failure of top 3 and they're go went gone.

Bangladesh has 1 bowler who clocks 145, and they are making so much noise about it. We have multiple bowlers clocking close to 150 and we don't play them even in T20, let alone Tests.

Wow, Pat Cummins is still clocking 144 at this age.

He has been bowling upto 147-148ks as well in the season.

I still believe he is operating at 70%.. in cricinfo IV he said his main priority is test cricket and IPL is holiday period for him :phehe:

Nahid bowls 145+ kmph and touches 150 kmph in test, Bd has multiple 140+ kmph bowlers-- Tanzid /Ebadot even taskin hits 140+ in t20s.

Bd has always preferred faster bowlers since the times of Murtaza, have not seen any fast bowler bowling sub 140 kmph making to bd side for a long time , only hasan is 135ish and he one who they use for accuracy and long spells.

Fizz started as 140+kmph and on effort ball reached upto 145 kmp, rubel was 140+ kmph, Taskin is still quick in white ball and bowls high 130s in tst as well.

He bowls in 137-144 kmph range mostly and 1-2 effort balls goes 145+ kmph and in test its mostly rhythm

Ofcourse, most of these foreign players play IPL just for the money, enjoy the free food, alcohol and the women.

Shoriful Islam is a trundler
Fizz is also not quick anymore
Taskin was hyped as ultra fast...he can operate in early 140s but mostly hovers in mid 130s to late 130s'.
Mortaza can clock 140, but he too lost his pace pretty quickly after injuries.

Shoriful is Tall LA pacer gets awkward bounce from the length think his avg speeds were 133 kmph in test that is not bad lively pace 136+kmph and v.high ball release.

Yes both Fizz and Taskin are not that fast any more due to multiple injuries but when they 1st  made it to bd side they were quick.

Wont find Bd opting for run of the mill trundlers, for them bowler has to be tall and fast and if not that tall then 140-148 kmph <-- rubel / Tanzid are example of that.

Nahid Rana was bowling 150k+ to Rizwan in his 6th over of the spell or so that I watched... Reckon he will push 155k in IPL on our speed guns where even Rabada seems to be express Quick.  Kid is a freak with tall that wiry frame.

Taskin started as very quick along with that Rubel Hossain guy..  he used to crank it upto 145k on occasions.

Too many injuries in last 2 years and he is now no more a consistent 140k bowler.

Still bowls a few here and there in limited overs cricket.

He might, however don't think the speed guns in IPL are tampered with.

I believe they are little inflated than International ones.. Alzaari Joseph was bowling 153k+ in some random season that left Bishop shocked.

Rabada as quick as he is was never a consistent 150-152k bowler himself which we are seeing this szn.

Ipl speedometer is correct and backed by hawkeye, may be sometime the reading on tv are typed incorrectly but ipl site shows the correct speeds.

As for Rana he has bowled 153 kmph in test vs Sl , he does not go much faster in t20s bowls high 140s and touches 150 kmph here and there, but he can sustain high 140s in test for longer spells

Rabada is back to bowling high speeds frm last year was doing in intnl too, the thing is there are multiple Ind/domestic bowlers who are bowling 140-144 kmph hence these intnl bowlers are pushed at bit too as they want to point of diff between domestic/ind pacers else they can go same way as intnl spinners who do not get v.v.good ipl contracts.
