Vk1
Current players who have not performed for ages ( like last performed way back in 2015 or something ) or perform once in a season and continue to get picked year after year.. Also players who seem like they are performing with numbers but are actually more responsible for their team's defeats than opposition.. chewy
Abhishek Sharma, this must be his 3rd/4th season, seen nothing but glimpses of 1-2 sixes and out. Been given way too long a rope. Riyan Parag, not really kicked on following his dream debut season

zen
there would be 20-25 good to great Ind cricketers spread out among 8 franchises, then add 4 overseas players (there are overseas back ups to these overseas players too), so rest of spots will include youngsters gaining experience, fringe players, etc if more teams are added, may be not a bad idea to allow 5 overseas players in the playing 11 to give more flexibility to the teams

Offers teams flexibility to choose the right combination for the games and adds spice. The only question is what should be the rule for playoffs. Maybe keep 5 overseas players for playoffs

Quality should be there too ... if the fringe players are good, teams can play them too preferring them over overseas players ... it is not compulsory to play foreign players, you can play with 11 Ind players Edited April 17, 2021 by zen

Even last year, him and Garg scored in one match, both of them were dropped 1 match after that. He can bowl, too. Definitely not a non performer. Maybe not suitable for SRH. Vk1
Shakib Al Hasan is another player.. on paper looks like a worldclass allrounder but he isnt for T20s.. all his records are in tests & odis.. pretty avg player who occupies crucial spots in top order & unsuitable elsewhere. Another case of confusing formats.. does very well in Odis.. assumed worldclass in T20s
