What is the evidence that SARS Cov2 is engineered? Here's the 2-part genetic smoking gun.

(1) There is a sequence of 4 positively charged amino acids on the spike protein.  The laws of physics will not allow 4 positively charged entities to cluster together; it will not happen in nature,  They were engineered to make the spike protein bind even more avidly to our cells!

But don't tell anyone - At least 33% of all human proteins have 4 positively charged amino acids in their sequence. Thus a third of human proteins are engineered to violate the laws of physics.

(2) There is a sequence called "furin cleavage site" on a particular location of the spike protein which makes it more deadly.  It is not found on any other viruses, including coronaviruses.

Only 12 other natural coronaviruses have this furin cleavage site at that particular location.  Just 12. Natural. Viruses. not. engineered. by. humans.

Not sure if you are saying covid19 is engineered or natural. It's confusing.

If you *had* to make a conclusion from the OP, what would it be?

It is unclear at least to me and sounds contradictory. Clustering of 4 positive unnatural if yes 33 pc of human body is also unnatural. Furin cleavage is not found in any other coronavirus but it is found in 12 other coronavirus.

Claim is in bold.  Reality is in italics.

Ahhh I see. So this is indeed a natural occurring then just that Chinese really did well in containing it.

My most plausible hypothesis:  The lab had samples of natural coronaviruses. It was violating biosafety regulations (keeping them in level 2 safety rather than level 4).  Someone got infected by one of those naturally occurring viruses and started it all.  The bloody Chinese tried to save face and withheld information instead of just admitting they effed up.  Millions died.

I believe this is what happened, as they were more focused on saving face. But if this coronavirus were natural, wouldn't it exist outside the lab as well? The viruses that are studied in a lab, are they brought from outside, like from a patient or two? Just curious from a layman's perspective. I have no clue how this virus research works. "The Chinese did it!" line is too convenient and thus not likely the truth is my gut feel.

Chinese have been taking samples from bat habitats like Yunnan caves for research. The scientist famous for this is called bat lady.

And they have been deleting historical records of their research on viruses in those caves.

They were arresting journalists who tried to enter as well

Yep.  And when you maintain these viruses, you will get changes with each round of replication.  If their containment is not 110% fool-proof ...

in a world where pandemics are of increasing order in occurrence, the country with the most defense research in anti viral vaccination/ therapeutics will be a super power.  Looks like China is like always well on its way, its like air craft carriers all over again - just when we thought we have an early mover advantage -- China shows up and beats India in its own game.
