Imagine if india had toygers, your people, Afghans, Sri Lankas, Indonesia.

We might win heaps of those non contact sport events.

Or maybe not because we would still lack infrastructure etc.

LMAO that does not make any sense. China still have some kind of rule over HK and Taipei.

More like nole. Nole is the greatest. Marin could be Federer.

Talking about style of play.

Nole is the GOAT (also best of all time) but Fed is the most talented player ever, a genius. Nadal is the greatest fighter.

pre partition india would get same number of medals as current day india - cause the other south asian countries dont even win medals.

The only one medal these non india saarc countries have won is black mare susanthika jayasinghe .. srilanka.. silver in 200 m women in Sydney 2000

True. I guess we could include East side of india like mayyanmar Bhutan. Would make no difference but they could win in non contact sports like I said.

Zero rule over taipei . Taipei is equipped with high end icbms from usa.. its the recognition from many nations they don’t have..

Gotta admire China's progress in Olympics, imagine if they had athletes from Taipei and HK just like GB, they would have been much better and won every single Olympics

This is why I respect China a lot, most of the western countries are able to compete in different events only cause of their immigrants/children of immigrants. The Chinese on the other hand use their vast population to their advantage and majorly their own citizen to compete and rake in the medals.

no. they never had gdp less than india ever. their per cpaita was lower due to massive population. but even when they were really poor they did well. not like korea who only became real good once they became rich. maybe state sponsored programmes?

hk still has a very grungy, third world feel (for a first world city). like for a place with such a high per capita income it still has a ramshackle feel (relatively).

India's Sreeshankar Murali missed out qualification for the men's long jump final at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.

Sreeshankar lodged a best attempt of 7.69m in his first jump, followed by 7.51m and 7.43m in his last two attempts, to finish 25th overall in the men's long jump.

China has a third world feel too even though its still third world but SK is the best out of all the far east countries.
