Kohli 49.95

Root 49.75

Closest it's ever been. We are approaching the big day.

time for Root to upROOT the bogus king.

Considering the current form of both batsmen,  expect the gap between the two to widen even further. Root is going to leave Kohli behind as a Better Test Batsman.

Root looks the youngest of the 4, and perhaps this is true in reality too. moreover, his mind and body seem more active than even before. looking forward to more years of root-a-tooting

Kohli, Root, Smith all level on 27 test hundreds now.

although root took more tests, he will soon score enough 100s to address the earlier lack of 100s

Yes he's converting with ease now. For a 2 year period he was only hitting 70s and 80s.

Kohli is 39? Exaggerating a bit there?

Bad form can strike anytime. No one in 2019 thought Kohli will struggle to score a 100 for three years, a guy with 70 international 100s in just 10 years, was averaging 53+ in tests.

root's form will dip, but it will take a while I think. As for Kohli, he looks finished.

Root doesn’t play T20 or any tamasha leagues and doesn’t captain any of the three formats. Just focuses on test cricket and one can see the rewards. He is going to leave everyone behind.
