R!TTER Posted September 4, 2021 Author Posted September 4, 2021 Why the * did we not appeal here? Could've easily saved around 50 off the final total
rkt.india Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 It was Bumrah's fault. From that view, only bowler will know whether it hit pad or bat first. Indwin, prashan and AuxiliA 1 2

You're kidding right? So you think Kohli appeals only on catches & now any lbw? In fact for a right hander the angle is even worse! He can definitely see the ball hitting Moen when JB's bowling round the wicket.

The umpire missed it too

Nope, see the replay at point of contact, it looks like it 100% hit the bat. It took zoomed very slow mo to even see it was pad first and even then it was incredibly close
ShoonyaSifar Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Entirely the fault of Clown, who appeals for everything and takes senseless reviews at his whims. In all these years as a captain, he has been unable to set a proper consultation process in place for DRS reviews. He did not even once check with his mid-on/mid-wicket fielder because he himself was convinced it had hit the bat first, no need to consult others Considering the match situation (Eng were 186/6), was worth risking a review but no clown was not interested. Cost us at least 45-50 runs if not more. Clown then promptly removed Bumrah from the attack! Genius clown for a reason

Genius clown for a reason Even if you appeal, umpire wouldn't have given it out and DRS, they wouldn't have taken.

Adamant Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 So the bowler did'nt bother to appeal who was actually the one who had the best view but somehow it's the fault of a player standing in the slips facing batsman's back. Zero IQ posters shitposting everywhere.
