rageaddict Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Australia is probably the worst T20 Nation among all the Top Teams so will go with SA here. SA have Maharaj and Shamsi in their ranks, they would be favorites on these pitches.
Lone Wolf Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 SA should have this in the bag. They have better batting line up simply. Hopefully Markaram gets to play. His game against pace is breath taking. Maharaj vs Smith will be a contest as well as Maharaj has his number in Test cricket.

Austin 3:!6 Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Really like Van Der Dussen. He is just as talented as ABDV was. The only problem is he is already in his mid 30s.

I reckon they'll play him. Marsh will be used as a finisher more likely or even floater. Inglis may play over Wade too

speedheat Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Staffers will win unless bhauma screw them.
Nikhil_cric Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 On paper, Australia is the better side with more accomplished side in all departments whereas South Africa is a team that is struggling with administrative and financial difficulties that have come to the fore in recent years. However, the recent T20 record of both teams suggests quite the opposite with RSA having won 9 out of their last 10 matches and Australia having lost 8 out of their last 10. So, keeping Australia's poor form in mind, SA should count themselves favourites . The venue: The Abu Dhabi track has shown to assist spin in the past but this season it has, unusually, favoured the quicker bowlers . Finch, however, suggested that Australia would go in with 2 spinners and only 2 quicks. Players to watch : RSA : Rassie Van der Dussen is in scintillating form and has become the most important white ball batsman for RSA in recent years and is the bedrock of their batting. Nortje's pace and Shamsi's spin should test the Aussies thoroughly Australia: Much depends on the form of Warner and Finch. Australia have a decent middle order with mitch marsh and smith and late order hitters in Maxwell and stoinis and the bowling is very consistent, albeit not the most threatening in this format. If Finch and Warner explode in the PP, it would be a different ball game altogether.
Serpico Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Who will be Australia's 2nd pacer? Hazelwood/Cummins
Nikhil_cric Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 @Mods pls merge this thread with the other. I didn't see it.

Nikhil_cric Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Looks like Finch was bluffing earlier. All 3 quicks and Zampa. Agar dropped and that's the right call.
