Don't spoil your WC crying over spilt milk. Let Ind play well first. Till then forget India, which could even lose to AFG, and let's focus on Pakistan (getting knocked out). 

 

Maybe even root for the proud AFG

Pak could be playing one of SA/Aus, so back them to be in the final at least. After that, it is doing well on that day.

 

Ind are not going to make it. It's fairly clear that we won't after this performance. Will definitely root for AFG/WI.

Both aus and sa will give them tough fight… it won’t be easy as the wins in this group .. the other group has more closer games.. so the pressure is on pak to perform and be in place where they have  never been … I.e unbeaten in the group ..  can’t wait for the semis .. let’s stop talking about india … and even stop watching their games .. bunch of quitters all the way from England abandonment ..

What teams like AFG lack in talent, they make up for that in spirit, which is world class!

That probably started the downward spiral for many players ... Add to that the surrender in WTC final

In a way, AFG did a good job of not allowing Pak to bat first versus a decent attack.

TBH .. the team has been the literally the same expect 3-4 players from WTC final .. horrible selection policy ..

Pakistan has won this before and has been top ranked team until recently  , it should not be an upset if they became champion again.

Without worrying about rankings, I had put Pak among the pre tournament favorite teams based on the conditions (PS in fact if you read my pre tournament posts, I had tipped Pak to make it to KOs, along with one of Ind/NZ with NZ being slightly ahead based on its ability to make it to knockouts somehow) … However, I know that knockouts is a different ball game and Pak probably has played its best cricket unless as I said it plays like SL of 1996 (sustained momentum).

I agree, it would be very unusual for Pakistan to keep playing top class cricket for long, whenever they have won the cup, their start was always shaky , not like this .

Pak is now likely to play Aus/SA/WI. Most likely Aus.

 

I back Pak against this Aussie team to make the final. Then it all comes down to that day and Pak can definitely win that as well. Although Eng can really make it tough. Either way, these Pak and Eng deserve to be in the final.

At this point, I am looking out for teams that are just beginning to get their act together or has had a bad game out of the way (Aus raises its hand but needs to get past two teams with nothing to lose so could play dangerous cricket). SA can surprise but at this point, it is difficult for me to visualize Bavuma lifting the cup (unless SA's luck is too strong, not likely to happen)

 

Eng (which can sustain momentum because of abundance of match winners in its line up) and Pak could be approaching a bad game. Both teams have batted second so far but Eng is proactive so could try to explore other avenues since it has qualified.

Fun is in the mind of the beholder.

I am thoroughly enjoying watching Namibia/Afghanistan and Scotland play.

It's a lifetime of memories for them and they are giving hope to so many other smaller countries. 

If you love cricket - not just Indian cricket - you would still find a lot of fun around - except Pak -  don't like em

Honestly will only watch it to see how far Afg can go and will root for SA from the other group. Maybe this is the tournament SA wins out of nowhere
