Who is the best no.6 cricketer in the world?

ODI stats :-

Jos Buttler AVG 38, S/R 118

David Miller AVG 40, S/R 101

Glenn Maxwell AVG 34, S/R 125, Bowl AVG 52, 51 Wkts

Hardik Pandya AVG 32, S/R 116, Bowl AVG 41, 57 Wkts

At the moment though, Pandya's bowling is at same level to Maxwell while the other two don't bowl. Buttler keeps wickets though. All these guys are power hitters.

Ben Stokes is a no.5 bat. Mediocrities like Colin de grandhomme are not considered without even looking at their stats.

Jos Buttler hands down. He calmly batted with Ben Stokes and delivered a WC title. Nothing can beat that performance.

I ll take all 4 … all are versatile enough to be able to bat anywhere … Buttler opens now a days in ODIs iirc

No, Butler doesn't open in ODIs, only T20s. They open with Roy and Bairstaw.

Buttler hands down.. Pandu needs to play more and win more. Buttler has been winning matches for them since 2014,1-2 yr before they transformed their Odi outlook. It's just that his performance goes unnoticed in ODI team filled with batting giants.

Lol thread without mention of Asif Ali

Asif Ali has to put in some more performances to be considered in the conversation. He has started showing some consistency in t20is, let’s see if he can maintain that tempo and also carry it over to ODIs as well. Maybe in an year we will have a better idea of what he can do
