China has built a large village in a disputed area in Arunachal Pradesh and has been taking incremental action to press its claims on the Line of Actual Control, a report by the Pentagon to the US Congress has said.

Still not sure mainstream media is covering this..   There were some reports about the infrastructure build up earlier this year at disputed regions & grey areas but we ignored. 

Still no clarity on what's happened in Depsang Plain & SSN in Eastern Ladakh.

Old news. It's not new and that part is in China's possession for a long time now since 1962 war. Vo sirf kehne ko Indian territory hai. It's been under China's control since 60s.

Nope it's a grey area & any military infrastructure is a change in status quo.  China made a big deal of a road construction last year well within Indian territory as it was change in status quo for them.  

Government's handling of entire issue has left lot to be desired.  Situation on Depsang is still unclear as Chinese continue to stop our Patrol on our area...  Our Path to Karakoram pass has been blocked according to Gen Panag.

Exactly. But the whole report is very interesting. It shows strategically where is China going.

Vishnu Som has explained in detail about the whole scenario.  Status quo has been changed to a whole new level & China has moved further down.  apparently this news is slowly blowing up. 

 

Things are extremely hot along Indo China border as of now.  2 lakh + Soldiers on both sides.  PLA southern command is also deploying more troops & arms in Tibet as of now. 

Depsang bulge is gone according to Indian military veterens & China still patrols pressure points along Pangong.
