Dhoni too didn't attend PCs during the end of his tenure. But that was only for the matches we won. For the ones we lost, invariably he was there. Remember his dejected face during the PCs of Abysmalic Eng and Aus tours. I am not saying that as a quality of a great captain, but that's the bare minimum a captain is expected to do.
