maniac Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Khota you need to articulate it better. A player needs to be picked on one skill and if he has an additional skill it is a bonus. If 2 batsmen are tied for a spot then maybe the guy with the extra skill can be considered. That could be anything. A bowler who can bat a bit or vice versa, good fielder etc. Picking a player because he has 3d skills or he can do a little bit of this and that while not having one prime skill is a concern. I am on board on that one. Thakur was picked as a 4th bowler in tests who could bat a bit and he did his job well. He flopped in T20 and has not added to the balance as his bowling in T20 has been lackluster. There is a difference here sarcastic 1
asterix Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Bhuvi can be a cheap version of AllRounder… Khota and New guy 1 1

You posted above that he is finished as an all-rounder. So atleast wait before judging if he failed or succeeded. Cricspin 1

All pitchers have long wingspan to generate arm velocity. Bats have hand eye coordination with tremendous eyesight and fast running. You cannot multitask. Impossible

Fluked his was in 2-3 crucial away tests, when the odds were really stacked against us? Do you need this new stuff called LSD? Yes, when we expect more from him & teams plan him out that's when his real test will be. But let's not make light of his bowling or batting achievements just yet, FYI he's better in the longer formats than T20's at least IMO. Sunil_narine024 1
