The fact that he has declared on a live interview that he was never taking rest from Odi series is more than enough to confirm that he is right.

Kohli needed to understand once he quit T20 captaincy , he was going to lose odi captaincy also.If he did not expect that then he is an idiot.

I suspect there is more than that. Unfortunate but deserved politics.  Actually Kohli is NOT looking at unceremonious exit from Indian cricket team. He is fighting against the current. Dada said STFU. Anurag Thakur today said STFU. So, Kumble like treatment is coming. He can play ignorance

So according to you things are just fine between Kohli & Sharma? Things were fine with Kohli & Kumble ? Things are fine with Kohli & Ashwin ,the latter inspite of being the best LOI & Test bowler had been kept out of the team for quite some time. He had no choice but to come and declare on live TV, his entire PR legacy was at stake because of this move.

Things are definitely not fine between the two biggest names pf Indian cricket but that doesn't mean you accuse them of deliberately making themselves unavailable just to avoid playing under each other's captaincy. That's it, that's what I saying. 

 

Instead of making claims out of thin air can't you just accept what is clearly visible. 

 What's the need to add masala in everything.
