The Aussies are without Cummins and Hazelwood and the English are still melting like a biscuit dipped in tea. This has to be the worst Ashes series in recent memory. While the 2006-7 series was also a clean sweep, England had their moments here and there in a couple of games.

One can only admire and respect how Ashwin and Vihari played such a huge role in India winning the series by drawing the third test.

 

This is not easy to dead bat for so many overs.

Case with most SENA pitches. NZ is even worse. Sometimes best day to bat there is day 5. Worst day is day 1.  Some pitches in SA have similar nature. They don't break up like it does in subcontinent. Having said that Adelaide oval offers turn. Not unplayable turn. If you are good enough you can survive.

Especially Adelaide...  This track is similar to the batting beauty in 2014..  When Kohli & Murli Vijay almost chased 360 odd.  Except Lyon generally wins it for Aussies here with his spin.

Maybe also due to the fact these days they have got Drop in pitches.  In England it is still tough in 4th inns.  Centurion gets tougher & faster in 2nd inns..  Joburg too. 

MCG Adelaide Sydney & all Kiwi venues are multi purpose grounds..  Old WACA used to be terrifying to bat in 4th inns with the cracks.

And Kiwis and India's off late. They do ok vs Kiwis away but they usually get blown away by India away. Aussies are ruthless against poms. convicts vs posh boys, convicts will always win. Thy are tougher.

Why? Rank Turner's can be fun no doubt but I would Ike to see pitches similar to 2016-17.

Indians are no experts on playing spin in 2021, but Australia are worse.

 

I love seeing and hearing them bitch about the Indian pitches.

Fair enough. The pitches vs england rofl were hilarious. We made them cry. What did we roll them out for? 80 and 100 something in 2 days hahahaha

 

But remember they have GOAT Smith. He is equal to 3 players alone. I dont fear anyone from any team in general but I fear that guy. 

 

Smith is the best batsman ever imo.
