rollingstoned Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 This reads too much like paid PR, the kind you'd read in some tabloid or ezine about some 'struggling' actor/actress and some irrelevant, pointless detail about their personal life in an attempt to stay relevant. ShoonyaSifar 1

The Realist Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Rohit's belly and fitness don't belong in the same sentence

Let us appreciate that he put the hard yards and became fit once again. Making fun of someone is easy. Following a hard program in gym to get your fitness to be better requires hard work and rigid application.

BacktoCricaddict Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 (edited) It is commendable that he is getting fitter, but shouldn't this be the norm for an international-level athlete? I get that cricket is more skills-based than athleticism-based (other than fast bowling, where you need both). But there is a basic level of fitness and injury-protection that one must have, and we are elated that he may be reaching it now? Like I heard on a sports talk-show - "The most important ability for someone playing a team-sport? Availability." Can we count on him to be there to help the team at all times? Sure as heck hoping so, because this guy has GOAT-level skills. Edited January 28, 2022 by BacktoCricaddict
