Make no mistake they did show a lot of promise. Especially that mammoth successful chase against England was on the back of 228 from Venugopal Rao. They didn't quiet achieve what Azharuddin/Laxman achieved. This guy is not even as good as Rayudu/Rao was. But he can turn it around. But it requires a huge improvement.
