For 3rd ODI, drop Pant to accommodate Dhawan

Dhawan is very old. Not sure what is the point of keeping him in the scheme of things.

Dhawan is old, Kohli is old and declined, and Rohit is also old and susceptible to injury. Selectors and TM need to give chances to at-least one new player in the top 3 to have a back up option before the 2023 World cup. Can't have an all veteran top 3, that's too risky.

If Dhawan is as good as TM claim him to be, why is he playing a meaningless bi lateral series?

Why not give opportunities to more kids?

So acc to u TM claims he is very good so he shudnt play bilateral and go into WC without ny high level cricket since he doesnt play 2 formats n domestic cricket hasnt been happening

The continued faith in Dhawan shows we have learnt no lessons from 2019 WC build up. We kept picking Rayudu, Jadhav and DK despite their old age. Not surprisingly they all lost form a few months before the WC.

seriously ??

Dhawan is diff league player then all others]

Lost form ??? what

Rayudu was found out against fast bowling a problem he always had

DK wasnt an anchor which they made him

Jadhav again was a limited player

only 2 player who lost form before WC was kulcha and they were young, so this age logic is so bullshit

We need an opener with attacking mindset. If that can be someone with a good technique, it is Sone pe Suhaga.  Now that Kohli wants to play freely, India should try him as opener. He will have a better chance to get away with attacking shots. He is not going to play the no 3 role but we still need him in the team.

To maintain the left-right combination , Dhawan or Kishan may be the other opener. Rohit move down at 3 or 4. Captains should stay away from opening

age logic is so stupid, how does it matter if he is batting well.

Not now. But an year from now. He will be 38.  India should try back ups in the matches against weak sides like WI.. He is like one injury or one run of bad form away from permanently being binned.

Do Australians refer to you by this term?

Australian's that I dont know and even Indian's for that matter in Australia, think I am of European background.

Its an affectionate term that an ex-girlfriend would call me as when I would take her to Indian restaurants for dinner I would always be smashing butter chickens.
