So. All you nitwits doubting south africa, maybe you should tune in to watch this game. In new Zealand, openers are key. You survive the opening phase, you can score big provided you have a solid middle order which we dint at the time we faced them. 

 

This south African team has plenty of talent. You don't know crap about cricket if you think otherwise. We only lost to them due to wrong selections which is true, however, they are still a strong side in conditions that utilise a kookaburra ball.

NZ didn't want to risk giving up their series lead and thought they had a decent shot to roll saffers again on a flatter track.  They still might.

It's not 'hot take'

South africa is a good side with potential. 

Their bowling is suited for bouncy wickets. They don't have a philander type bowler anymore and that cost them the match in the first game. 

 

If Kiwis lost the toss in the first game, they may have likely lost to saffers. Remember the mighty toygers spanked them after they won the toss.

If NZ lose this test, they will be virtually OUT of the race for WTC final this time.

I want us to nuke them. Take them seriously like we do with Aussies. We never go prepared there. We can 100% beat them in n.z. 

 

I know we can crush them in India, Australia, s.africa and Asia In general. Also add west indies. There are 2 places where they can beat us. England and n.z. that's it. However, even there we can defeat them by picking right selections. We need to go with good stroke players and pick swing bowling trundlers who can bat. Only need 2 premium bounce based bowlers. 

Prasidh bumrah siraj is perfect for n.z. 

Go with chahar and thakur at 7 and 8. We don't need spinners. 

Same line up would have helped us beat s.africa last time too.

Good to see SA showing but this isn't over by any means yet.  SA has to bowl well here.  I reckon a high scoring draw is on the cards.  Pitch looks flat.  NZ should have persisted with Green tops...  SA bowling is hit the deck anyways.

Rabada puts down a caught and bowled chance. Went low. But still catchable. Went the wrong way. First 2 wickets were not actually wicket taking deliveries.

SIpamla is moving the ball nicely. But not as accurate as Philander. 130-135 kph on an average.

Conway effortlessly pulls 140k bouncer from Jansen. But ball doesn't  climb that much up. 

 

Next ball out. What an innocuous delivery to get out to.   Another strangled down. Reminds me of Indian batsmen getting down to wide balls from Jansen.

Sipamla action is very much like Alan Donald. It is almost like he copied it.

Jansen is like Thakur. Gets wickets somehow in Tests.  A funky field set  possibly suggested by Maharaja got the wicket. NZ is in deep trouble.

NZ badly missing Taylor and Williamson.  This partnership would be series deciding.
