BlueBlood
Rohit looks tired, burned out and just out of ideas in IPL. Even his batting form is pathetic. Yet, he is made King of LOI's and most likely will captain tests too as its clear BCCI hates Kohli. I think we will perform extremely poorly in all challenging events like WT20 etc. Against such an insipid personality with no new ideas or passion to win. Can't bat, can't bowl, can't field properly and can't captain either. Why can't captaincy of at least T20 be given to Bumrah or even someone like Pant so new ideas can be brought. Bashing minnows like SL and that too at home conditions is making Rohit and BCCI complacent and they will throw Rohit under the bus to protect themselves. There's zero accountability and no selection made on talent or form any more. The chickens will come home to roost. Majestic
Pant has no leadership skills. Let him play as keeper batsman and give him the freedom to bat the way he should. Rahul isn't a good captain too. Rohit is the only viable option and IPL is not a benchmark to disqualify him from international captaincy. Link to comment
SeasonedIPLer
Without doubt he is a terrible captain he has got away in years due to having the best team, some dodgy umpiring decisions and luck this year his true captaincy colors are showing aka 8 defeats in a row… Link to comment

Virat has been extremely lucky with the great squads we've had yet he's lost us crucial games with brain dead decisions & his epic choking abilities! Vijy 1 Link to comment
Adamant
He is definitely a better LOI captain than Kohli. So the chances of winning are higher but he and Kohli both are woefully out of form. Lord and DarkProfile 1 1 Link to comment
Nikola
Kohli got fair chance to lead 4 icc events. Now lets see what rohit does in next 2/3 icc events before we groom our next captain in pant or whoever selectors want. Adamant and DarkProfile 2 Link to comment
Nikola
Also there were not better alternatives than rohit for small term captaincy. No one expected kohli to give up captaincy from all 3 formats. Adamant 1 Link to comment
Serpico
Well atleast we know that Rohit can win with good teams. With Kohli there's no such confidence either sensible-indian, Vijy and DarkProfile 3 Link to comment

Mariyam
The current RoSha shouldn't be in the or Indian team on the basis of form, let alone captain these sides. Vijy 1 Link to comment
