They never looked comfortable against him. 

 

And he bowled such beautiful lines at 140 k to 151 k in BD and upto 153 k in NZ.

 

His ball release and seam position are good too, and that is a big big plus because the ball would travel better in the air and extract more life out of pitches.

What happened in the past year?  He's completely fallen off the radar. Injuries? Lack of coaching? Will be a great loss if he is lost forever to Indian cricket.

The Indian cricket fraternity want bowlers who give them a sense of control, even if it is a false sense of control against top teams in important games.
