prasen82
Pant and kohli are probably misfits here ... Dhawan and Rohit are on borrowed time and will prolly play WC based on past reputation. Unless we create roles and earmark players , we will just be catching up. We need to reach out to our bowlers to hold a bat and at least be able to tonk 4 -5 boundaries between them on a aggregate basis and hope we have 3 bowlers from 5,6,7. Top 4 need to have average over 45 and strike rate over 90. Identify those and kick the rest out. Gill is possibly a better loi player. Check Washington Sunday as well. Sanju is our most talented batsmen. Can we start giving him chances irrespective of failure for 10 straight matches . He should come good . Why waste it on virat? Vijy 1 Link to comment
Jay
Provlrn with India batsmen is they can't play extreme bounce vs very tall guys. I mean excessively tall guys are a big problem. We just can't handle them period. I will show you examples We cant play quality spin either but really tall dudes who have extreme bounce is a problem.. See we did pretty well vs Cummins hazlewood because they aren't excessively tall.they are both 6'4 which seems like a height We are able to handle ok. They are obviously very tall but not giants. Now watch us vs giants in sena. Below are all 6'7-7 foot players Jansen? He owned our batsmen Kyle Jamieson? Owned us in new Zealand and England Reece topley? Best figures recently We also csnt play quality swing bowlers early on in sena. Andy Boult Shaheen (fast and can swing early) Vijy 1 Link to comment

Pant, if he plays should ideally bat in the top order (#1-3) or lower middle order (#6-7) In the short term, there is no escaping from these tired and familiar faces If the top 3 remains we may see such scorecard regularly zen 1 Link to comment

Eh even on flat tracks if we have to set a score we won't score par score. They will play for their stat padding. I swear this is our worst batting bunch of all time no doubt. Literally worst ever. Lucky we have a great bowling attack but now that shami is nearing 40 and we are he'll bent on not drafting In prasidh tyagi or kuldeep sen for tests to balance our attack, we are declining there too.
