Majestic Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 In last one year, KL's strike rate has gone down while Rohit's has increased pretty well. KL needs to up it again. A year ago he was striking at 143-144. Now it is down to 139.
Frustrated Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 I simply hope Kela goes through all these threads dedicated to him on ICF. And announces retirement out of humiliation. LOL.
kubrickian Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 (edited) The pitches in UAE are on the slower side, its not that easy to start hitting straightaway, plus he is coming back from injury. KL is one of the best T20 batsmen in the world. Just a matter of time before he comes good. As a side note, do the people who write these posts put any thought or just post anything randomly which comes to their mind ? Quality of many posts at ICF is terrible. Jay Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Just because the reality suggests that mental midget sucks as an opener and you all still love him doesn't mean everyone needs to get behind him.

Crucial multilateral tournaments are not supposed to be platforms to allow batsman to take their own time and be allowed to fail in 4 to 5 continuous games. India are lucky that they hv not been Knocked out yet, thanx to SKY's inning vs HK and Pandya's knock vs Pak. We were on course to lose both these games. And return home by now. Regarding KL' batting form, He has played 4 games since his comeback. He is lucky to hv played 3 out of 4 games against associates. Yet, never shown any authority in his batting even against them. (Its not as if we hv no options available. Batsmen are supposed to be selected based on current form and not past reputation) In a t20 game against Associate (HK), he was struggling to middle the ball after facing 39 balls. Where does the question of "start hitting straightaway?" arise? In a t20 game, a batsman wont get a chance to face 100 balls. This is not test cricket. Edited September 4, 2022 by Frustrated
