Cannot get a better trio than Rohit-Kohli-Rahul for Australia, in whatever form and of whatever age they are. DK is icing on cake.

 

Batting is complete. Our bowling has weaknesses.

Not saying we are perfect. But conditions favour our batters. Last time, we had no chance on UAE slow pitches. Ever other team has flaws as well. SA is only one better than us on Paper. And Australia, has the home advantage.

Our batting is very hit or miss.

Either we bat exceedingly well or we collapse.

 

Our bowling, has its limitations. Those that other sides are also aware of.

 

Our fielding is the worst that I've seen in a decade. Contrast our fielding now with the fielding we had at WC 2011. There was a sense of urgency and purpose.

 

Espirit de corps *seems* to be at its lowest.

Kishan..!!. certified A grade hack who cant play ball rising above his groin..

For some reason tewatia never got his chance. His fastish leg spinner with ability to move across the wicket and tonk bowlers and disrupting their lines is an asset..

both dept have their share of weakness but this was the best that was avl . For everyone anybody who is sitting on bench becomes better till he starts playing 

 

Batting 

• lack of leftie
• Lack of flexibilty 
• lack of extra value among batters

 

Bowling

• lack of tall hit the deck hard at high pace bowler 
• Spinners in terms of attack do fall short of many other teams
• Lack of batting depth 

 

Fielding is the biggest minus

Which sports were you watching? Our run rate this year is the highest we ever had in a year. And we will not see 250+ totals in Australia. These 190s will be safe. Unless we lose every toss, there is not a lot of worry.

Pant is **** at t20 but if there is one place where he can play in t20 is opening. He sucks everywhere else. That's his best bet.

Dk will start against sides with better pace attacks specially the ones hardik will have issue while hitting

Pant when sides have bowlers that hardik n sky can handle at end

Ash harshal together can be decent but arshdeep as bowler is more tight then harshal n chahal is more of a wkt taker so every choice has its downside.

I think we should play two of the better batters among these three

Chahar/Bhuvi

Ashwin/Chahal

Harshal/Arshdeep

 

Everyone will get tonked but we can't play aggressive with only 7 batsman and that too 7 th one is Axar.

The other choices are

Pant/DK

Hooda/Axar

for the wicket keeper and 7 th batsman or ar.
