did the indians warn Dean? that's the crux of the debate. or are the rules warning enough.

They have noticed it. Not sure they warned her. Frankly they don't have to.  It is like telling the batsman' "Hey don't come out you will get stumped"

I am pro Ashwin too on this issue. Because leaving the crease early is the actual unfair play here. Somehow they turned it against the bowler.

She didn’t do it on purpose. It is a human mistake. You gotta win in cricketing terms. This is adharma

disagree completely. law has been made very clear for  this.

That’s why we have Dharma, code of ethics. You can follow laws but it can still be a adharmik . You got to warn first. Even Dharmaraja (Yudhishthir) spent a day in naraka for being slightly not following dharma

No, but they have changed the rule. You don’t need to warm, but the code of ethics still says you should warn

Looking at more images she was repeatedly wandering outside. I don't think she shouldn't be doing. Cricket is also a game of inches. So we have to respect the spirit of the game and make an effort to stay in the crease until the ball is delivered. The thing about this they can wander outside literally every time they are at the non striker end and one time they get caught and run out they bring up this "spirit of the game" argument.  It is unfair on bowler.

When a top or middle order bats with no.11 player they are going to do this every single ball which was what she was doing.  Trying to gain advantage. This was spotted.  Out of desperation she was trying to get a head start before the bowler releasing the ball.  That is also not in good spirit and it is also illegal.

Piers morgan made ai insulting tweet  about Indian woman's team. Indians are not letting go of it lightly. They share a series of videos how England respected "spirit" of the game

First of all to call it Mankad itself is so racist like British of the time were. We should stop calling it as Mankad.

Yes. That has to be discouraged. We don't call any other dismissal with person's name. Mankad did it first time. So what. This would have been the case with other dismissals also.  First bowled was  in cricket history was by a guy named Hill. Do we say batsma was "hilled"  lol.

All others are on cricketing terms. Caught, bowled, stumped, lbw, only this is on a unobserving human error. Not for cheating

Handling the ball

Time out

Hit wicket

obstructing the field

What cricketing terms are there?

diasgree again.why is the non striker allowed to adharmik here?.the rules are specifically made to stop this unfair advantage.

That’s why a warning is befitting to him. If he still does it, you penalize him by dismissing him

Not sure of spirit of game non sense.. It's clear rules the non striker can move only after the ball is released.. it is in the rules..why moan about it.

If unfair, why have this rule or mode of dismissal at all. The non striker need to keep his/her ass inside the crease until the ball is delivered.

The pommies are cry babies ..cry for everything under the sky if on the receiving end. Remember the WC final incident where the ball deflected from stokes bat... Either remove this mode of dismissal or STFU if happens. Even if some team does to Indian it's well within the rules. Just accept and move on.

As per Dharma / code /spirit of the game. Stumpings are for  lack of skill of batsmen and for awarding the guile of the bowlers

and this is to award game awareness from bowlers and to punish casualness or plain cheating by non striker
