Aus' NRR is still very poor, compared to that of Eng and Nz.     Aus need to beat Afghanistan by huge margin to hv any chance of qualifying.   If Eng beat SL by huge margin, it's game over for Aus.

Once one of these games are completed, it will be very clear of whats going on and make the T20 game a game within a game of getting the NRR.

Bangladesh are still with a chance. They have to beat Pak and hope Zim beat India.

Poys also in with a chance. Have to beat SA and then Bang and then hope Zim beat India

So India beats Zim and then it curtains for all...hmm
and that's the last match of the league stage, everyone will be interested.

yes. However if Pak lose tomorrow, then it is only Bang that will be interested till the last day but we have a better run rate than them and we may scrape through even if Bang beat Pak and we lose to Zim narrowly

Banjo. Even Zim has a chance to qualify

Zimbabwe
Played: 4, Points: 3, NRR: -0.313, Rem match: vs Ind

Zimbabwe can get to five points, which means they can be tied on points with Pakistan, Bangladesh (if their game is washed out), and South Africa (if they lose both games), but Zimbabwe's NRR is too low to make them serious contenders. Even if they beat India by 50 runs, they will need South Africa to lose their two remaining matches by a combined total of 80 runs to overhaul their NRR.

I hope England try to win by big margin against Sri Lanka and lose then Aus get beaten by Afghanistan. Then we will face Sri Lanka.:hysterical:

England's NRR is already better than Australia why would they try to win by a bigger margin?

It's Australia who have to win  by margin of 60 runs more than England. If England wins by 10 runs, aus need to win by 70.

Even a match against Zimbabwe is a donor die for us now!

Why won't they, if they can ?

Even a margin of 100+ isn't a safe bet against Afghanistan for Australia. Yes, England will first try to win but they will definitely try to up the nrr when they are in safe position.

Nope. ENG v SL is after AUS v AFG, so they would know exactly what to do
