We need at least one full match with against BD or Zim and win it handsomely Link to comment

Frustrated
Aus' NRR is still very poor, compared to that of Eng and Nz. Aus need to beat Afghanistan by huge margin to hv any chance of qualifying. If Eng beat SL by huge margin, it's game over for Aus. coffee_rules and SRT100 1 1 Link to comment

Once one of these games are completed, it will be very clear of whats going on and make the T20 game a game within a game of getting the NRR. Frustrated 1 Link to comment

However if Pak lose tomorrow, then it is only Bang that will be interested till the last day but we have a better run rate than them and we may scrape through even if Bang beat Pak and we lose to Zim narrowly Link to comment
SM2907
Poyz can also go through along with India if SA v Ned gets washed out Link to comment
coffee_rules
SL, Ireland and Afg from Group 1 Zim, Ned from Group 2 are officially out of contention for SFs NZ, Eng, Aus SA, India, Pak and BD can still qualify at least mathematically Link to comment
coffee_rules
Banjo. Even Zim has a chance to qualify ZimbabwePlayed: 4, Points: 3, NRR: -0.313, Rem match: vs Ind Zimbabwe can get to five points, which means they can be tied on points with Pakistan, Bangladesh (if their game is washed out), and South Africa (if they lose both games), but Zimbabwe's NRR is too low to make them serious contenders. Even if they beat India by 50 runs, they will need South Africa to lose their two remaining matches by a combined total of 80 runs to overhaul their NRR. Link to comment

If England wins by 10 runs, aus need to win by 70. Link to comment

Even a margin of 100+ isn't a safe bet against Afghanistan for Australia. Yes, England will first try to win but they will definitely try to up the nrr when they are in safe position. Link to comment
