No, Sandeep Sharma doesn't bowl in death. If he bowls in death overs, his stats would have been :-

 

AVG 28

Econ 8.5

 

If you have doubts, ask someone who is a supporter of the team he played for this year.

If you have done tremendously well in IPL, it helps. If you have done bad, it doesn't go against you though.

 

The likes of AB de Villiers and Kieron Pollard are well and truly remembered as modern day T20 great for that very reason.

He is not better. But very underrated bowler. Should have got matches for India. In place of Kaul, Thakur, Shami, Umesh.
