Axar can't bat like Hooda.  So far he has been utterly useless. Pakistan match we lost the momentum mainly due to his over. He is also a garbage fielder.

I have my expectations in check as there are red flags in the team:

 

Ind has not won a World Event when captained by someone from the South (Srikant 1989, Azhar 90s, & Dravid 07). 
 

When Kohli scores runs, his team whether Ind or RCB, fails to win a tournament. 
 

India may need a special effort to change such things.

Hooda can't bat outside top 3 too so useless selection. Won't bowl till Ashwin is there in the team.
