Shame at your speed, action or whatever. Did bhuvi ever take 4 for 5 in a spell? Australian tail are no mugs with the bat but they were visibly worried to face him. They would have definitely preferred to face bhuvi yesterday raki05 1 Link to comment

Also, Bhuvi too has played mostly on helpful tracks, horses for courses style. mostly played only when the pitches or conditions suited him. Vijy, express bowling and vijaydude 1 1 1 Link to comment

Bowlers with low wickets per match and decent averages means that such bowlers can be used only in certain situations / phases / conditions even within a match. And this puts more pressure on the other bowlers. So, there is no point in picking such bowlers unless such favourable conditions are guaranteed to last for most of the match. Tbf bumrah may also not pick a small wickets but he puts intense pressure on batsmen which forces them to attack other bowlers and hence gift wickets in the process. That needs to be accounted for too India need to follow the simple template we all talked about. Bumrah to do the main role of being complete bowlers. Prasidh Sen for bounce Siraj for swing Bawa or hangs alm rounder Would be a deadly attack Vijy 1 Link to comment

Sen / Prasidh 10. Bumrah 11. Siraj / Kuldeep Yadav ( based on pitch ) This will be a deadly attack in test matches outside India. Vijy, Suhaan, Mosher and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

That looks way too dangerous and sexy for dravid Rahul So it's a definite no. Can you imagine bum back to full fitness hurling bouncers, harshit natural bounce and dangerous neck level bounce of prasidh on those south african tracks. it's suicide for batsmen. Problem is our old guard is so washed up that even if we restrict opponents for sub 220 we would struggle. Vijy, express bowling and Mosher 3 Link to comment
