I would agree with you...if he was getting good swing and pitching on a good line and length and still getting hammered. But he was not really. But he held his nerve when it counted though and that was impressive. He's got guts.

There is nothing wrong with selecting Irfan in ODIs.U dont need pace to be successful in ODIs unlike test cricket. Also we desperately need a left arm bowler with Zaheer Zaheer unlikely to play much ODIs in future.So hopefully he can cement his spot in the ODI squad ahead of Vinay. For tomorrow we should go with Pathan Mithun and Aaron imo.
