Given Rohit is going to play, Will they bring back KL Rahul, who was disaster in Bangladesh Tour or they will stick with Gill hoping that he can carry his form in Test Cricket? 

 

Gill can also take middle order position incase Iyer isn't fit. There hasn't been any status on level of Injury and how long will the be out.

Nothing serious. In case if he is unavailable Sarfraz must be picked. He is in rich vein of form. This Gujara will sh** in his pants  with his tuk tuk.

More than the openers, I am worried about middle order.
Kohli is helpless against spin, Ishan Kishan and KL are not so great either. Rohit should ideally come down in MO to control the inns against spin (if Iyer isn't fit), Jadeja's fitness is still iffy and there is no Pant who can take the attack back to the opposition.
Let Kohli open the inns with KL and try to score some runs.

TBF Rohit is Bradmanesque in India, no matter the pitch or opposition. If fit I expect him to perform well.

Uncles wont change their positions. They will expect the kids to rotate around them.

 

Kohli is susceptible to spin and pace or swing bowling be it fast, slow or medium pace.
