In an attempt to reach atop the 'World's richest' ladder, he took a short cut....typical jugaadi mentality, he doesn't care about India's reputation at International level, just greed & quick money making schemes backed by a corrupt uneducated politician....Shame!!

Is his greed the problem or bots defense of his behavior? I don't have the answer.

I think Indian media was ahead of this one. Two weeks back all the news linked to Soros backed attack was pre-empted. What they don't understand is that Adani is not Enron or GE.

What's new in the OCCRP report that is not there in the Hindenberg or any other allegation? SC appointed panel (with Nandan Nillakeni) didn't find anything wrong with Adani, SC is asking for a Sebi report which is being drafter. Why does Modi need to talk about any of it? Both reports are sponsored by Soros , btw.

Why Did George Soros Bet Against the British Pound in 1992?

Soros bet against the pound in 1992 because he believed that Britain’s position in the ERM was unsustainable and that it would eventually have to devalue its currency or leave the system. He used his Quantum Fund to sell billions of pounds and buy other currencies, creating a huge demand for other currencies and a sizable supply of pounds, which lowered the value of the pound in the market.

What Was the Impact of Black Wednesday on George Soros?

George Soros became very wealthy, but also infamous for his role on Black Wednesday. He was praised by some as a genius and a visionary, and criticized by others as a greedy and ruthless speculator who exploited the weaknesses of the system and caused harm to millions of people. He also was accused of having a political agenda behind his actions, as he was a vocal supporter of European integration and a critic of Britain’s reluctance to join the euro.910

What Was the Impact of Black Wednesday on the U.K.?

Black Wednesday had a negative impact on the British economy and politics in the short term, but a potentially positive impact in the long term. In the short term, it caused an economic contraction, high unemployment, social unrest, and public spending cuts.11 It also damaged the credibility and reputation of the Conservative government led by Major, who had succeeded Margaret Thatcher in 1990. The government was widely blamed for mismanaging the economy and failing to protect the pound. It also faced a rebellion from some of its members who opposed further European integration and the Maastricht Treaty. In the long term, however, Black Wednesday allowed Britain to regain its monetary sovereignty and flexibility. It lowered its interest rates and inflation and stimulated its exports and growth, thus boosting the U.K.'s confidence and competitiveness.12

What Was the Impact of Black Wednesday on Europe?

Black Wednesday had a significant impact on the European integration process. It exposed the flaws and vulnerabilities of the ERM and raised doubts about the feasibility and desirability of a monetary union and a single currency in Europe. It also increased the skepticism and hostility at the time of some European countries, especially Britain, toward further integration and cooperation in Europe. Nevertheless, the euro did eventually become the single currency for the Eurozone in 1999, and it remains in use today.

The Bottom Line

Black Wednesday was one of the most dramatic and consequential events in the history of the global financial markets. It showed the power and influence of speculators like Soros, who could challenge and defeat governments and central banks with the size of their bets.

It also showed the challenges and risks of maintaining fixed exchange rates in a volatile and interconnected world. It was a turning point for Britain’s economy and politics, as well as for Europe’s integration project.

I asked a genuine q. What is different now?

The part about Soros shows how he has made money and his credibility. Do you deny that Soros foundations had a hand in these reports. I will still abide by SC appointed panel and the SC analysis of the pending SEBI report. If he is found guilty, put him in jail. I don't support any JPC into this matter. If they oppose Adani so much, why are they awarding contracts to Adani in their states - Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, WB etc?

I have no faith in this. Their job was to catch them long time back. If foreigners expose them then SEBI is sleeping on the wheels. No faith.

Gautam Adani considers legal action over 'baseless' Hindenburg's fraud claims | CNN Business

Oh! That was almost 6 months back. More fraud will be exposed during discovery. They will never sue.

So to you, its fraud if your white master's private corporate entity calls it a fraud but Indian agency finds no fault. But if white master agency finds no fault, then its to be paraded as legitimate. Typical gora gulaam.

Again a proof this guy is really not into reading. It's almost discipline of monk to stay ignorant. He knows how to type Adani and use Google. Little bit.

IHC have sold the stake to rebalance the portfolio and sold to another buyer.

Is Congress or other party also beholden to Gora Masters or whatever you call them.

Also who makes the appointment for SEBI's.

What does conflict of interest means.
